Product-in-development: Sneak Preview

The last couple months have been a whirlwind of technical challenges, design iterations, patent documentation and most importantly finding great manufacturing partners. We've made so much progress, we thought we'd give everyone a sneak preview of a product we are especially excited about.

We believe that wireless charging is here to stay and once people truly experience the convenience of simply placing their mobile device down to begin charging, they will likely cut the cord for good. Now pair this convenience with battery anxiety that a person often feels while traveling and you have a glimpse into our next major product in development.

Have you had to deal with searching for an outlet at an airport? Or hover around a charging station waiting for your turn. You have a battery pack but accidentally left it at home? Well our wireless charging suitcase is the perfect charging companion for any trip.

We're packing in a massive battery (tentatively 16,000 mAh) that is enough to recharge most phones 5-6 times.

For mobile devices that support wireless charging, all you have to do is simply place your device on top to begin charging. We are integrating the latest WPC 1.2 spec. that is not publicly released yet which will allow us to double the speed of charging from the current standard. Many phones today feature wireless charging and more are on the way. We'll also offer iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ wireless charging cases for Apple fans.

For those that don't have wireless charging capability or you would like to share your battery, we'll incorporate a USB output behind a weather sealed closure. We'll also add yet another USB output that can be accessed from inside the suitcase.

It's a little too early for us to nail down an availability date but we are hoping for a holiday 2015 launch. Stay tuned for updates.
